Baked Chicken Strips

Ingredients: 

  • 1 1/2 lbs. chicken tenders
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp oregano 
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup flour 
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. 
  2. Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Set aside. 
  3. Mix seasonings and panko breadcrumbs together in a shallow dish. 
  4. Put flour in a separate dish. 
  5. Beat eggs in a another dish. 
  6. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Place an oven safe cooling rack on top of cookie sheet and spray with non-stick cooking spray. 
  7. Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. 
  8. Place them on the cooling rack. 
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping once halfway. 
  10. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
